About Elves

This page is all about elves! Yay! It seems that almost everyone I know likes Legolas and thinks hes cute. Even me! Arwen, Legolas and many more elves are featured in the movies! Well, there are some pictures and information on elves.

Arwen

Arwen is the only daughter of Elrond, the Lord of Rivendell, Arwen is said to be the most beautiful of all living beings in Middle-earth. Born to an immortal life as an Elf, Arwen must chose between it or to forsake this everlasting existence for the love of the mortal Aragorn. In so doing, she dooms herself to die as a Human.

Galadriel

Oldest of all the Elves that remain in Middle-earth, the Lady Galadriel dwells in the forest haven of Lothlórien, surrounded by her Elven followers, and husband Celeborn. Of all the wise, Galadriel is possessed of the greatest foresight and bestowed upon Frodo several gifts to help him in his quest, including the Phial of Light. She knows that the time of Elves is coming to an end, and soon she must join her kind leaving the shores of Middle-earth for the Immortal Lands to the west.
